Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Angel Alfaro started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mery in the 5th minute of play forced Eiti Leda's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ayrocollo booed when Eiti Leda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Benítez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Mendiola hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Baldomero Gatica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Carvajal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mery in the 18th minute of play forced Eiti Leda's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Angel Alfaro in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Seco saved Ayrocollo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mery in the 21st minute of play forced Eiti Leda's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Mery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Carvajal having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Bernardo Carvajal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 26 minutes into the game, Baldomero Gatica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernardo Carvajal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Ayrocollo's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Angel Alfaro came free, but Teodosio Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baldomero Gatica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ayrocollo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. José Julio Carrión hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Eiti Leda's Inocencio Ortuzar in action when he in the 41st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a defensive mix-up in Eiti Leda's zone, Joaquin Mery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Carvajal came out of the goal and Joaquin Mery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joaquin Mery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Mery to make the kick off. Juliano Antunovic's late challenge caught a Eiti Leda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juliano Antunovic helped the player get up and apologised. Teodosio Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Angel Alfaro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Jeraldo Tiñoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eiti Leda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeraldo Tiñoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeraldo Tiñoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Angel Alfaro in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Eiti Leda got a corner. Ayrocollo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inocencio Ortuzar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Eiti Leda's Inocencio Ortuzar to fire away a dangerous shot which Teodosio Seco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute Joaquin Mery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Carvajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeraldo Tiñoli in the 74th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Baldomero Gatica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eiti Leda's Bernardo Carvajal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eiti Leda's Bernardo Carvajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Mery in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute, Baldomero Gatica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayrocollo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Ayrocollo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Juliano Antunovic hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ayrocollo had won after a very even match.
