After a rather tough play, ZAMORANO FC's Próspero Dareport got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 10 played minutes Calen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Pinilla. In the 11th minute Severiano Grajales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Matte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mateo Minden sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Isidoro Matte threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mateo Minden this time. After 22 played minutes ZAMORANO FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabián Slier. After 23 played minutes Calen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Adasme. Elías Burboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Matte having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Teodor Cea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Matte. Calen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodor Cea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, ZAMORANO FC's Elías Burboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Matte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Severiano Grajales's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Isidoro Matte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isidoro Matte stood somewhat misplaced when Severiano Grajales came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Isidoro Matte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabián Slier in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, ZAMORANO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Minden to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Alen made a kick off. Isidoro Matte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Próspero Dareport, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Calen AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Isidoro Soffia hit a great ball. Ursino Zenteno came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Calen AFC's Isidoro Soffia. But to his dismay, Isidoro Soffia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Isidoro Soffia's late challenge caught a ZAMORANO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Soffia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Isidoro Soffia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Calen AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pinilla to maneuver through the defense. If Severiano Grajales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Alen charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Alen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Alen kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Emanuel Pinilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calen AFC and the ZAMORANO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Emanuel Pinilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Soffia got free with Ursino Zenteno in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severiano Grajales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Matte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elías Burboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes, Amador Arriola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZAMORANO FC and the Calen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Severiano Grajales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ZAMORANO FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
