Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Aitor Guevara made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Aitor Guevara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calvino Carrión. Cherquenco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aitor Guevara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Cherquenco's goal looked a bit too open when Adán Rozental came free, but Calvino Carrión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cherquenco getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Narcís Pretot hit a great ball. Calvino Carrión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aitor Guevara in the 11th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cherquenco's Reces Uriondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Carcavilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hilario Carcavilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reces Uriondo in the 20th minute. Angelo Pfingsthorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hilario Carcavilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alex Espínola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Aitor Guevara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adán Rozental had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cherquenco defense, Adán Rozental kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calvino Carrión. The Cherquenco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calvino Carrión should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Pfingsthorn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reces Uriondo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hilario Carcavilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherquenco. 57 minutes into the game, Alex Espínola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cahuisa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cherquenco the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cahuisa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cherquenco a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Armijo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cahuisa's Hilario Carcavilla. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adán Rozental got free with Calvino Carrión in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Calvino Carrión successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aitor Guevara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ofelio Carvajal's late challenge caught a Cahuisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ofelio Carvajal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cherquenco getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ofelio Carvajal hit a great ball. Alex Espínola was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Cahuisa booed when Cherquenco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcís Pretot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cherquenco's Narcís Pretot got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Adán Rozental reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calvino Carrión. The goal made the score 1-3. 85 minutes into the game, Danilo Lambert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cherquenco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cahuisa the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aitor Guevara in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calvino Carrión prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narcís Pretot got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Cherquenco's zone, Aitor Guevara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvino Carrión came out of the goal and Aitor Guevara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reces Uriondo hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cahuisa were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cherquenco side.
