In the 4th minute, Leonides Santibañez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freddy Gröger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Ignacio Olavarrieta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Gröger went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With his leg José Ignacio Olavarrieta managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when A K I R A's Leonides Santibañez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the game, Bernardino Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A K I R A the free kick. A collision led to Macul getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bernardino Romero hit a great ball. José Ignacio Olavarrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Gröger in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, A K I R A's Leonides Santibañez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Ignacio Olavarrieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Macul getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Remi Deramond hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Santibañez got free with José Ignacio Olavarrieta in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddy Gröger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Ignacio Olavarrieta having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Macul's goalkeeper José Ignacio Olavarrieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Santibañez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juanjo Peralta in the 35th minute of play forced Macul's goalkeeper José Ignacio Olavarrieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Ignacio Olavarrieta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Gröger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Macul's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Gröger came free, but José Ignacio Olavarrieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Santibañez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Ignacio Olavarrieta. That made the score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Salbatore Santa María made the kick off in the second half. José Ignacio Olavarrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Santibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Darien Trincado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to A K I R A getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Darien Trincado hit a great ball. Zebastian Vennerström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Esteban José Vanohier. If Freddy Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Santibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Leonides Santibañez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Ignacio Olavarrieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Freddy Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Ignacio Olavarrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Gröger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Leonides Santibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Ignacio Olavarrieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play Macul's Bernardino Romero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of A K I R A booed when Macul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonides Santibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A K I R A's Freddy Gröger got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Macul's zone, Leonides Santibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Ignacio Olavarrieta came out of the goal and Leonides Santibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Leonides Santibañez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Ignacio Olavarrieta. Macul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Santibañez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
