Guillermo Unger kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Abraham Ureta suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liberto Blondel during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alqui's Barni Ormachea was substituted for Abraham Ureta. After 20 played minutes Proyecto X got a freekick which was hit by Liberto Blondel. Juan Luis Calvetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Antonio Peronard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Luis Calvetti ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes Alqui got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Alberto Izammit. Liberto Blondel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Huilipan. Alqui's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juan Luis Calvetti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Francisco Antonio Peronard 25 minutes into the match. When Jeraldo Walton fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proyecto X's protests and gave Jeraldo Walton a yellow card for diving instead. Jeraldo Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Juan Luis Calvetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Antonio Peronard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julián Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Juan Luis Calvetti made the kick off in the second half. The Alqui fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Alqui's Juan Luis Calvetti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 55 played minutes Alqui got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Santander. After 62 played minutes, Alqui's Barni Ormachea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Antonio Peronard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alqui reached it. Abdón Infantas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jon-Ander Katalinic thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Francisco Antonio Peronard, a very annoying self made goal in the 72nd minute which led to 4-1. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Juan Luis Calvetti sped through Proyecto X's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Antonio Peronard. A collision led to Alqui getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ronaldo Santander hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Juan Luis Calvetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pau Camilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Paulo Huilipan made a huge save. Eufemio Kunstmann hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alqui had won after a very even match.
