Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silvestre Rencoret made the kick off which started today's match. The Alqui fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Alqui's Juan Luis Calvetti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Anaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Universidad de Chile the free kick. A collision led to Alqui getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Baraquiel Anaya hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CF Universidad de Chile's goalkeeper Frances Baeza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Juan Luis Calvetti notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CF Universidad de Chile's Frances Baeza. Frances Baeza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frances Baeza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Raheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CF Universidad de Chile's Frances Baeza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Luis Calvetti in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Juan Luis Calvetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Luis Calvetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frances Baeza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julián Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Frances Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Juan Luis Calvetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Luis Calvetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frances Baeza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Luis Calvetti's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Juan Luis Calvetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Frances Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Luis Calvetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Frances Baeza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergio Benito hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alqui's Juan Luis Calvetti got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Florido kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Juan Luis Calvetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abraham Ureta fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alqui's protests and gave Abraham Ureta a yellow card for diving instead. Abraham Ureta kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hilario Raheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alqui's Juan Luis Calvetti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frances Baeza. That made the score 0-5 after 84 minutes of play. Juan Luis Calvetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Baeza having to interfere. Juanjo Seraín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Baeza having to interfere. Juan Luis Calvetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frances Baeza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Luis Calvetti ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alqui walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
