In the 5thth minute of the game Rómulo Oliva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conaco's Alirio Baltra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alirio Baltra went to the wrong direction when Rogerio Bolton was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Alirio Baltra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rómulo Oliva's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Rómulo Oliva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alirio Baltra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PODER LATINO FC booed when Conaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Plácido Viveros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rómulo Oliva in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alirio Baltra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintén Pozo in the 13th minute of play forced PODER LATINO FC's goalkeeper Jose Maria Venezian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Rómulo Oliva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Rómulo Oliva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alirio Baltra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When PODER LATINO FC's Rómulo Oliva in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jose Maria Venezian was a little too slow when Lois Fiamenghi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-2. PODER LATINO FC's Rogerio Bolton got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rómulo Oliva to make the kick off. If Lois Fiamenghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Conaco got a freekick which was hit by Quintén Pozo. In the 55th minute of the match Rogerio Bolton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alirio Baltra skillfully saved the ball. The PODER LATINO FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when PODER LATINO FC's Rómulo Oliva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rómulo Oliva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Rómulo Oliva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alirio Baltra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alirio Baltra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilio Fontaine in the 72nd minute of the match. Quintén Pozo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Plácido Viveros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Maria Venezian. PODER LATINO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Plácido Viveros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Jose Maria Venezian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Rómulo Oliva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded PODER LATINO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Conaco.
