Misquihue's Estevan Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Achurra in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th of the match, Leandro Penschke tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Estevan Paniagua got in the way and made a wonderful save. 25 minutes into the match, Lalin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xabier Larrañeta came free, but Américo Pereda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Botello in the 26th minute of play forced Lalin AFC's goalkeeper Américo Pereda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Lalin AFC's Peio Zunino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Leonel Polhemus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lalin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Polhemus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Estevan Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Penschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Lalin AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Filiberto Mejia hit a great ball. When Misquihue's Jonathan Botello, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Misquihue. Estevan Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Penschke in the 94th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jaime Achurra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estevan Paniagua was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
