He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Potrerillo reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Christiano Leiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pumillahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Leiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alipio Mariluan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alipio Mariluan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Leiva's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillo's zone, Elias Gabella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alipio Mariluan came out of the goal and Elias Gabella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alipio Mariluan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Gabella in the 21st minute of the match. Leopoldo Nil hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Elias Gabella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Gabella in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alipio Mariluan saved Potrerillo from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Christian Unda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alipio Mariluan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Gabella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Escuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Prenafeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilio Ormeño having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillo's zone, Christiano Leiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alipio Mariluan came out of the goal and Christiano Leiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Prenafeta made a kick off. Elias Gabella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alipio Mariluan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Elias Gabella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alipio Mariluan was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Prenafeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilio Ormeño. Pumillahue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Prenafeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rodrigo Prenafeta charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Prenafeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Potrerillo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rodrigo Prenafeta hit a great ball. When Pumillahue's Elias Gabella in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Potrerillo's goalie prevented a goal. Horacio Jesus Reina's late challenge caught a Pumillahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Jesus Reina helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Potrerillo got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Jesus Reina. A collision led to Pumillahue getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aristeo Leyton hit a great ball. Elias Gabella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Leiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Alipio Mariluan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
