Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andolín Amezquita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alipio Mariluan. Potrerillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Ricart Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alipio Mariluan. Ricart Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Raymundo Briones came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Planchada AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Briones couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Unda during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Planchada AFC booed when Potrerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Unda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Potrerillo's Alipio Mariluan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoel Rocha in the 39th minute of play. Ignacio Matamala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alipio Mariluan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ignacio Matamala struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Alipio Mariluan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planchada AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Planchada AFC's protests and gave Ricart Mota a yellow card for diving instead. Ricart Mota hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ignacio Matamala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alipio Mariluan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Planchada AFC defense, Dionisio Escuti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siluna Abufom. The Planchada AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siluna Abufom should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoel Rocha in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alipio Mariluan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dionisio Escuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potrerillo's Rodrigo Prenafeta got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
