After 28 played minutes Papujune FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ormaechea. Wilfredo Malky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alarico Ferrari in the 34th minute of the match. Alarico Ferrari scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilfredo Malky, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salomone Claro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Vinos Alcantara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alarico Ferrari struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Wilfredo Malky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curaco. Wilfredo Malky came out of the goal and Elodio Patiño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alarico Ferrari came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Curaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alarico Ferrari couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Curaco getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Francisco Antonio Fantini hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Elodio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot.
