An unexpectedly hard shot by Ofelio Quintano in the 4th minute of play forced Junipert FC's goalkeeper Casimír Yete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Aracena during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Junipert FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Aracena to maneuver through the defense. Ofelio Quintano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Leonel Conejeros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimír Yete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cecilio San Pedro took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nazario Olarra. Nazario Olarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristiano Lagunas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazario Olarra having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Silvio Asencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Mario Mackenzie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Narcomillo Amunátegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junipert FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcomillo Amunátegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ofelio Quintano in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimír Yete saved Junipert FC from getting behind. If Alex Aracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazario Olarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Lagunas in the 36th minute of the match. When Ofelio Quintano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Callejones AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ofelio Quintano couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Lagunas to make the kick off. With his leg Casimír Yete managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Callejones AFC's Ofelio Quintano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Lagunas took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nazario Olarra. Nazario Olarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nazario Olarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Ofelio Quintano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Callejones AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonel Conejeros hit a great ball. If Cristiano Lagunas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Junipert FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio San Pedro. Casimír Yete made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ofelio Quintano sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Junipert FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magdaleno Alderete to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Callejones AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Lagunas came free, but Nazario Olarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcomillo Amunátegui during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Abel Parraguez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Junipert FC's Casimír Yete didn't even have to move. Junipert FC's Casimír Yete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Conejeros in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Callejones AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Junipert FC.
