Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Vin Taladrin FC's Enrique Mariano Lizardi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ángel Rios short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Isaiás Hevia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Israel Meckes, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vin Taladrin FC's Isaiás Hevia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Martini in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ángel Rio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Basilio Martini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Conrado L´Hotelier's late challenge caught a Cautinisca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado L´Hotelier helped the player get up and apologised. Conrado L´Hotelier kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Basilio Martini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Cautinisca booed when Vin Taladrin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mac Gill didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ángel Rio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cautinisca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ángel Rio couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Cautinisca's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Arangua came free, but Ezequiel Basauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaiás Hevia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robustiano Oliveros. In the 40th minute, Conrado Lantadilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Vin Taladrin FC's Adriano Calabrano tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Manuel Mac Gill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Basauri having to make a save. Ezequiel Basauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Arangua in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Vin Taladrin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Martini came free, but Isaiás Hevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Martini to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ángel Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cautinisca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ángel Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cautinisca's Ángel Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vin Taladrin FC defense, Basilio Martini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaiás Hevia. The Vin Taladrin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaiás Hevia should have stopped the shot. Ezequiel Basauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Mariano Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vin Taladrin FC's Enrique Mariano Lizardi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ezequiel Basauri. That made the score 1-1 after 68 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Basilio Martini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaiás Hevia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Eustaquio Agacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Basilio Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaiás Hevia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
