Julián Vilu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amato Barba kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Alonzo Guajardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match Juan Sandoval sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julián Vilu skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alonzo Guajardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wanakin FC's Julián Vilu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Juan Estevan Lauwerens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angelino Guardas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42 played minutes Wanakin FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodovico Samaniego. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Guajardo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julián Vilu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodovico Samaniego charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodovico Samaniego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Teodovico Samaniego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Paravic was the one to do the kick off. Omar Paravic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Guardas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Julián Vilu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Guajardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julián Vilu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Guajardo in the 71st minute of the match. Alonzo Guajardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alipio Azócar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Guajardo in the 78th minute of play forced Wanakin FC's goalkeeper Julián Vilu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alipio Azócar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julián Vilu having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Wanakin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manuel Magalhaes to maneuver through the defense. Omar Paravic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
