In the 5th minute, Wanakin FC's Omar Paravic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Amato Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gustavo Tagle in the 12th minute of play forced Wanakin FC's goalkeeper Julián Vilu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Abelado Devilat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humberstone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelado Devilat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Estevan Lauwerens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanakin FC's Julián Vilu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelado Devilat in the 30th minute of play. Teodovico Samaniego kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Timeteo Angellotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julián Vilu skillfully saved the ball. When Carlos Gustavo Tagle came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Humberstone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gustavo Tagle couldn't finish the play. Abelado Devilat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amato Barba hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Abelado Devilat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humberstone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelado Devilat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Abelado Devilat notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wanakin FC's Julián Vilu. Julián Vilu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Paravic to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Wanakin FC's Julián Vilu got control of the ball when Carlos Gustavo Tagle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Manuel Magalhaes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Timeteo Angellotti didn't quite understand what happened when in the 61 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 65th minute Juan Estevan Lauwerens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pol Mahns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Humberstone got a freekick which was hit by Zarpas Soupper. Omar Paravic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pol Mahns having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Paravic in the 83rd minute of play forced Humberstone's goalkeeper Pol Mahns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Juan Estevan Lauwerens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pol Mahns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julián Vilu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Humberstone's Higinio Jelves. But to his dismay, Higinio Jelves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Humberstone players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
