The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Jelves during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pol Mahns came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Unicaven's Lucas Parro. But to his dismay, Lucas Parro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucas Parro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pol Mahns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Gustavo Tagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Unicaven's Pinone Gaete got control of the ball when Carlos Gustavo Tagle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Abelado Devilat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pinone Gaete, 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Unicaven's goal looked a bit too open when Abelado Devilat came free, but Pinone Gaete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Humberstone booed when Unicaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viviano Ducci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Unicaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Oyanedel to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Parro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucas Parro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pol Mahns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonifacio Perochena went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Viviano Ducci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Perochena in the 60th minute of play forced Humberstone's goalkeeper Pol Mahns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Gustavo Tagle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Perochena in the 73rd minute of play forced Humberstone's goalkeeper Pol Mahns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Abelado Devilat put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pinone Gaete. When Bonifacio Perochena came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Unicaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Perochena couldn't finish the play. Humberstone's Pol Mahns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Perochena in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Humberstone's zone, Lucas Parro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pol Mahns came out of the goal and Lucas Parro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucas Parro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Perochena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
