Fulgencio Diaz de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Aguirrebeña might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristeo Flethechar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Aguirrebeña ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Ariel Diaz de León made a precise shot to the right of Aristeo Flethechar. Guape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Aguirrebeña got free with Aristeo Flethechar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Diaz de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ysmael York made a kick off. The supporters of Guape booed when Escapina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Echedey Vilu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Guape got a freekick which was hit by Josías Sierralta. In the 68th minute of the match Escapina got a corner. Guape's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albin Pérez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ariel Diaz de León recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ysmael York received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Juan Ignacio Isasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guape's Aristeo Flethechar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Aguirrebeña in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ariel Diaz de León's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristeo Flethechar was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Escapina had played much better football throughout.
