Cornelio Pacull stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Chavez. 0-2. Lucián Urmeneta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jorge Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucián Urmeneta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucián Urmeneta struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jorge Chavez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OPTIMUS PRIME FC. Feliberto Salcedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Teran having to interfere. After 23 played minutes OPTIMUS PRIME FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Jesus Delpiano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Hugo Lizardi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lois Teran saved OPTIMUS PRIME FC from getting behind. Feliberto Salcedo in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lois Teran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Feliberto Salcedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lois Teran made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Landoff in the 35th minute of play forced Confluencia's goalkeeper Jorge Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Landoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Hugo Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Teran having to interfere. Candido Landoff took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Chavez. Jorge Chavez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Landoff made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Raimundo Pedregal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59thth minute of the game Feliberto Salcedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OPTIMUS PRIME FC's Lois Teran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lucián Urmeneta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Chavez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Landoff in the 74th minute of play. Candido Landoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, OPTIMUS PRIME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Dijk to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Feliberto Salcedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lois Teran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Confluencia's Feliberto Salcedo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, OPTIMUS PRIME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Hugo Lizardi came free, but Lois Teran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Victor Hugo Lizardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lois Teran was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Confluencia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OPTIMUS PRIME FC's performance. The match ended with a win for OPTIMUS PRIME FC.
