Esequiel Chandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Leyton having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urtsín Goncalves made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Chillehue got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Oña. Nicolas Florido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtsín Goncalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Patio club S.A booed when Chillehue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Hugo Larraguibel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacindo Markmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Leyton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacindo Markmann ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Ander Quintano in the 96th minute of play forced Chillehue's goalkeeper Honorio Leyton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Patio club S.A had been in control for most of the match, Chillehue still came away with the win.
