Tamariz Döner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Talcalonco FC's Sergi Goñi got control of the ball when Filomeno Ancieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Faustino Demartis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talcalonco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 15th minute, but Sergi Goñi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Talcalonco FC hanging dry this time. After 16 played minutes Talcalonco FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Landaeta. Sergi Goñi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Ancieta in the 17th minute. Casimír Iturbe hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Faustino Demartis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportes Concepcion's Tamariz Döner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tamariz Döner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Carrera in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportes Concepcion's zone, Faustino Demartis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamariz Döner came out of the goal and Faustino Demartis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marín Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tamariz Döner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Demartis in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jeronimo Carrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talcalonco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Carrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tamariz Döner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Demartis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Parada's late challenge caught a Talcalonco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Parada helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportes Concepcion getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Camilo Parada hit a great ball. Deportes Concepcion's Tamariz Döner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Carrera in the 43rd minute of play. Jeronimo Carrera took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tamariz Döner. Tamariz Döner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Zercalde to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Deportes Concepcion booed when Talcalonco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Landaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talcalonco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xavier Bolados was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportes Concepcion's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Deportes Concepcion's Xavier Bolados to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergi Goñi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tamariz Döner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Carrera's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Faustino Demartis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Carrera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tamariz Döner, 0-3. 84 minutes into the match, Deportes Concepcion's goalkeeper Tamariz Döner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Demartis. When Filomeno Ancieta came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Deportes Concepcion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Ancieta couldn't finish the play. If Benicio Zercalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Talcalonco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportes Concepcion.
