Gregorio Quiñones made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Faustino Demartis sent off a good shot on target. Talcalonco FC's Adrián Farias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregorio Quiñones in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gregorio Quiñones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Demartis in the 13th minute. Mónico Mantilla's late challenge caught a Turicapur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mónico Mantilla helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Talcalonco FC got a freekick which was hit by Mónico Mantilla. Jeronimo Carrera was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Talcalonco FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Turicapur's zone, Faustino Demartis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Quiñones came out of the goal and Faustino Demartis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Humberto Alejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turicapur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Noé Mantilla struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sergi Goñi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turicapur. If Humberto Alejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noé Mantilla in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergi Goñi saved Talcalonco FC from getting behind.

Faustino Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Quiñones having to interfere. Noé Mantilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Alejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sergi Goñi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Noé Mantilla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergi Goñi, 0-2. Turicapur's Gregorio Quiñones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Carrera in the 83rd minute of play. Gregorio Quiñones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Carrera went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, one of Turicapur:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
