Xulián Fontaner's late challenge caught a Turicapur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xulián Fontaner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Turicapur booed when Laguneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulián Fontaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laguneros's Juan Alberto Farren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noé Mantilla in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Laguneros's Federico Iglesias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Quiñones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Alberto Farren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Fischer in the 9th minute of play. Noé Mantilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Juan Alberto Farren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Hormann's late challenge caught a Turicapur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Hormann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Elias Hormann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Iglesias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Quiñones having to interfere. Noé Mantilla struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Juan Alberto Farren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turicapur. Juan Alberto Farren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Alejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Turicapur's Humberto Alejo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laguneros's goalie prevented a goal. When Fulco Madina fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turicapur's protests and gave Fulco Madina a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Turicapur! After having played for 46 minutes, Noé Mantilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turicapur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noé Mantilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Laguneros booed when Turicapur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Figari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andoni Illanes Ansaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gregorio Quiñones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Iglesias was the one to do the kick off. If Federico Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Leonides Fischer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turicapur and the Laguneros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Turicapur got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Fischer. Andoni Illanes Ansaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Quiñones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andoni Illanes Ansaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Federico Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, Laguneros's Federico Iglesias made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Quiñones was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noé Mantilla in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Alberto Farren saved Laguneros from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, Laguneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Hormann to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Federico Iglesias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Quiñones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Laguneros's zone, Noé Mantilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Alberto Farren came out of the goal and Noé Mantilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Fischer was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Turicapur getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leonides Fischer hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Jesus Marine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Turicapur's Gregorio Quiñones didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Federico Iglesias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Quiñones was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Marcel Olivares's late challenge caught a Turicapur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Olivares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Laguneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Olivares to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Humberto Alejo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Andoni Illanes Ansaldo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Laguneros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andoni Illanes Ansaldo couldn't finish the play. Laguneros's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
