Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Magallanes FC's Francisco José Monzón started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Faille might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvino Sanabria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Faille ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Patricio Aguila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Filomeno Faille managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magallanes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Faille was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvino Sanabria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco José Monzón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alvino Sanabria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Faille got free with Alvino Sanabria in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Magallanes FC's Filomeno Faille slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvino Sanabria. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Darkside FC's Alvino Sanabria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco José Monzón in the 25th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Patricio Aguila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sarracino Lagarrigue. Magallanes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Aguila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Per-Oskar Berglund came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Darkside FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Berglund couldn't finish the play. Per-Oskar Berglund scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarracino Lagarrigue, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloi Jaras in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sarracino Lagarrigue, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute of the match Tanausu Alcayaga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvino Sanabria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sarracino Lagarrigue came out of the goal and Eloi Jaras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Aguila hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alvino Sanabria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Faille, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th match minute, Magallanes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco José Monzón to maneuver through the defense. Sarracino Lagarrigue was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Xavier Botello. When Darkside FC's Eloi Jaras in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magallanes FC's goalie prevented a goal.
