Amancio Cataldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Bertrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Valdenebro's late challenge caught a Cold Defense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Valdenebro helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Cataldo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Mark Labbé sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mullure AFC's goalkeeper Juan Alfonso Parker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cold Defense's Amancio Cataldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Labbé in the 58th minute of play. Rollo Jory charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rollo Jory the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cold Defense's Rollo Jory got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Cresenciano Dávila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cold Defense's Amancio Cataldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mark Labbé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cold Defense's Álvaro Danke got a free kick in the 79th minute. Mark Labbé scored 1-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Cataldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cold Defense's Amancio Cataldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresenciano Dávila in the 84th minute of play. Juan Alfonso Parker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Bertrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cresenciano Dávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Cataldo having to interfere. When Mullure AFC's Mark Labbé in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mullure AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cold Defense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
