Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Juan Raúl Demartis came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Tiliviche AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Raúl Demartis couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Casimír Crespo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gilberto Echandia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Aristides Illanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Echandia was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Aristides Illanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gilberto Echandia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacho Pincheira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Bernardo Besa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Choroico AFC booed when Tiliviche AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balendín Ruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Tiliviche AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Illanes came free, but Gilberto Echandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Illanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Echandia made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bernardo Besa sent off a good shot on target. Nacho Pincheira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute of the match Tiliviche AFC got a corner. Choroico AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvino Lozano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvino Lozano made a great header on Tiliviche AFC's corner, it was just that Choroico AFC's Nacho Pincheira managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Tiliviche AFC's zone, Casimír Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Echandia came out of the goal and Casimír Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Gorbea to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Echandia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Besa's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute Dino Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Pincheira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Besa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Besa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gilberto Echandia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Choroico AFC. Aristides Illanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Echandia having to interfere. If Bernardo Besa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino Gorbea came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Tiliviche AFC fans jumped to their feet. Gilberto Echandia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 87 minutes, Aristides Illanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choroico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Illanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Illanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Echandia having to interfere. During the 92nd minute of the match Balendín Ruz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Balendín Ruz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Julián Fredes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Echandia. Tiliviche AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tiliviche AFC's Dino Gorbea got a free kick in the 94th minute. Matias Van Diest made a great header on Choroico AFC's corner, it was just that Tiliviche AFC's Gilberto Echandia managed to reach the ball for a save. Choroico AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
