Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Yoel Maschke started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Domeyko! Firmín Antonis went to the wrong direction when Rodolfo Azpuru was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 7th minute, Tobías Encina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Carlos Saúl Cuevas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Telmo Victoriano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Domeyko's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Azpuru was slow to take the kick. During this time FuiAlBalón FC's players had a chance to rest. Firmín Antonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Almendras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carlos Saúl Cuevas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Domeyko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Saúl Cuevas couldn't finish the play. If Marcos Almendras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Saúl Cuevas charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Saúl Cuevas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Domeyko got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Saúl Cuevas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Ward in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Firmín Antonis saved Domeyko from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arturo Ward managed to get in a good position for a shot. FuiAlBalón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Ward was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firmín Antonis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carlos Saúl Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firmín Antonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Almendras, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Arturo Ward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmín Antonis having to interfere. When Quim Cano fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Domeyko's protests and gave Quim Cano a yellow card for diving instead. Quim Cano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Firmín Antonis came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FuiAlBalón FC's Arturo Ward. But to his dismay, Arturo Ward quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Carlos Saúl Cuevas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Victoriano having to make a save. After 62nd play minutes Carlos Saúl Cuevas shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Telmo Victoriano and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcos Almendras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Firmín Antonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcos Almendras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Hugo Jaramillo's late challenge caught a Domeyko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Hugo Jaramillo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FuiAlBalón FC's Victor Hugo Jaramillo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Carlos Saúl Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Saúl Cuevas in the 78th minute of play forced FuiAlBalón FC's goalkeeper Telmo Victoriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FuiAlBalón FC booed when Domeyko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Saúl Cuevas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Maschke took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Victoriano. Telmo Victoriano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the FuiAlBalón FC defense, Yoel Maschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Victoriano. The FuiAlBalón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Victoriano should have stopped the shot. Carlos Saúl Cuevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Victoriano having to interfere. Domeyko's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
