The referee ignored Equipo Eliminado's protests and gave Juan Jose Villagrán a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Miguel Caamaño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinando Grilli in the 35th minute. Juan Miguel Caamaño was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Faustino Smitmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Smitmans really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. But to his dismay, Ferdinando Grilli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Faustino Smitmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Juan Miguel Caamaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Fermín Leal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Equipo Eliminado's Yoel Moron quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Chilpa's Fermín Leal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vinícius Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Equipo Eliminado had played much better football throughout.
