If Nacho Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nacho Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graneros's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Jose María Galdames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 played minutes Graneros got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Zavala. Raymundo Barcelo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Reinaldo Martínez Lamas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huyar. Nacho Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baraquiel Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nacho Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Graneros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Pardo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Graneros booed when Huyar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baraquiel Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huyar's Lucio Jose María Galdames proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Huyar from getting a goal against them. Lucio Jose María Galdames didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Danél Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danél Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Martínez Lamas having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the game, Baraquiel Vasconcelos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Adriel Phillips charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriel Phillips the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47thth minute of the game Danél Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graneros's Reinaldo Martínez Lamas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nacho Pardo made a kick off. Danél Urbanos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Reinaldo Martínez Lamas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Danél Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Martínez Lamas having to interfere. Huyar's Lucio Jose María Galdames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Pardo in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Pardo in the 62nd minute of play forced Huyar's goalkeeper Lucio Jose María Galdames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Albonico hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ricard Zavala didn't quite understand what happened when in the 65 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Ramón Garrido hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Ofelio Olivar came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Graneros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ofelio Olivar couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Ofelio Olivar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Huyar's Lucio Jose María Galdames. Lucio Jose María Galdames was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 81 minutes, Nacho Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nacho Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lucio Jose María Galdames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nacho Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huyar's Lucio Jose María Galdames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ofelio Olivar in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Graneros had won after a very even match.
