In the 10th minute Ulises Webar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Echavarría saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ramaditas booed when SAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martino Zammit didn't get a good kick on the ball. SAU's Sarracino Echavarría played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Webar in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Miguel Pablo sped through Ramaditas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Allison. In the 27th minute, SAU's Martino Zammit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Martino Zammit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SAU protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martino Zammit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Sarracino Echavarría, was totally fooled by Ramaditas's Yoel Varela, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 32 minutes, Rubén Matas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAU and the Ramaditas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubén Matas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sarracino Echavarría took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Webar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Carvallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. A hard shot 45 in the game by Teodosio Garza from a close distance when the talented Sarracino Echavarría managed to make a qualified save. SAU's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Del Pino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ramaditas's Valerio Escandón got a free kick in the 60th minute. Joel Allison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Del Pino in the 61st minute. Miguel Pablo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. SAU's Basilio Del Pino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Webar in the 69th minute of play forced SAU's goalkeeper Sarracino Echavarría to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peio Fiamenghi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SAU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peio Fiamenghi couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Axel Lagarrigue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Del Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Uriel Carvallo made a precise shot to the right of Sarracino Echavarría. SAU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ramaditas had played much better football throughout.
