If Francisco Javier Herquiñigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Mac Kenney in the 22nd minute of play forced Huaylluta FC's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel San Juan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León Mac Kenney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Carlos Manuel San Juan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Manuel San Juan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Javier Herquiñigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. Mulluri's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
