Peñalolen Unido C.D's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Miguel Chirinos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Peñalolen Unido C.D's zone, Jose Miguel Chirinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Bastarrica came out of the goal and Jose Miguel Chirinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elazar Aboitiz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ignacio Bustillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bastarrica having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Jose Miguel Chirinos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dino Bastarrica saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute Raúlo Cruzat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Mahuzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Challavilque defense, Raúlo Cruzat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Mahuzier. The Challavilque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Mahuzier should have stopped the shot. Raúlo Cruzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Feliberto Mahuzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúlo Cruzat in the 39th minute of play forced Challavilque's goalkeeper Feliberto Mahuzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes Challavilque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tor Deppe who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peñalolen Unido C.D's corner Tor Deppe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Feliberto Mahuzier quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Jonatan Mery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peñalolen Unido C.D's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Challavilque the free kick. Jonatan Mery hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Peñalolen Unido C.D's Tor Deppe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Challavilque. Dino Bastarrica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Miguel Chirinos in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Elazar Aboitiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alcadio Villavicencio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Dino Bastarrica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 minutes of play, Peñalolen Unido C.D's Abundio Guerrero made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Mahuzier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Mahuzier made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Abundio Guerrero sent off a good shot on target. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
