In the 33rd minute, Rune Meland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reyes Cuadra. The goal made the score 2-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Las Águilas Fútbol Club's Tito Bueras in the 36th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Reyes Cuadra was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Purranque AFC through an amazing save. In the 44th minute, Adelio Zebadilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tito Bueras to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tito Bueras in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reyes Cuadra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Aitor Cano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zenón Arnault. That made the score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play. If Ivan Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Las Águilas Fútbol Club's Zenón Arnault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Las Águilas Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Purranque AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
