After a defensive mix-up in Purranque AFC's zone, Ignacio Bustillos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. If Ignacio Bustillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Vivars short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Feliberto Mahuzier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lucio Jose María Allison was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Purranque AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Challavilque's Jose Miguel Chirinos got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Bustillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Reyes Cuadra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ignacio Bustillos put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reyes Cuadra. In the 96th minute Jose Miguel Chirinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reyes Cuadra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
