Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romeo Oña kicked off to start the match. Romeo Oña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Zañartu having to interfere. After 5 minutes, Celedonio De Smet d`Olbecke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiguayante AFC and the Peupeu AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Chiguayante AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio De Smet d`Olbecke. Cristofer Cousiño succeeded in the game's 6th minute to get real power on a long shot . Chiguayante AFC's Ruperto Zañartu hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarpas Amengual in the 15th minute of play forced Chiguayante AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Zañartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zarpas Amengual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Oña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ruperto Zañartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvatore Abbott in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto De Gavardo saved Peupeu AFC from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Chiguayante AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Abeliuk to maneuver through the defense. If Zarpas Amengual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarpas Amengual in the 40th minute of play forced Chiguayante AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Zañartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Nestor Abeliuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Abdul Amesti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peupeu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiguayante AFC the free kick. A collision led to Peupeu AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abdul Amesti hit a great ball. Salvatore Abbott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Niceto De Gavardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvatore Abbott to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Juan Raúl Hesse made a precise shot to the right of Niceto De Gavardo. Peupeu AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ruperto Zañartu was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Romeo Oña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romeo Oña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Roque Donaire charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Donaire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Peupeu AFC's Roque Donaire got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Peupeu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Raúl Hesse came free, but Niceto De Gavardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Salvatore Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvatore Abbott struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Niceto De Gavardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiguayante AFC. 72 minutes into the game, Juan Raúl Hesse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Niceto De Gavardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Salvatore Abbott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chiguayante AFC's Salvatore Abbott got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Romeo Oña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Zañartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto De Gavardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore Abbott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Salvatore Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
