Ermegildo Almoraza might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Antonucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Almoraza ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Antonucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Hernán Trucco in the 8th minute of play. Lorenzo Cacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Bakovic in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Rio negro fc's Lorenzo Cacho threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaume Schulz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Javier Gamarra in the 17th minute of play forced Rio negro fc's goalkeeper Domingo Antonucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cracks F.C.'s Ermegildo Almoraza got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Coulin in the 19th minute of play forced Cracks F.C.'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Cacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cracks F.C.'s Lorenzo Cacho got control of the ball when Dante Bakovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Bakovic came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lorenzo Cacho could save by the left post. A collision led to Rio negro fc getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dante Bakovic hit a great ball. Quim Bulnes lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th minute, one of Rio negro fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio negro fc. The referee gave Cracks F.C. a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eufemio Bassenge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rio negro fc's Domingo Antonucci. 1-1. After having played for 35 minutes, José Javier Gamarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cracks F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but José Javier Gamarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cracks F.C.'s Ermegildo Almoraza got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cracks F.C.'s Lorenzo Cacho got control of the ball when Jaume Schulz tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 42nd minute of the match Ermegildo Almoraza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ermegildo Almoraza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cracks F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ermegildo Almoraza hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Cracks F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miren Delzo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Bakovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Bakovic during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingo Antonucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Hernán Trucco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Antonucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Javier Gamarra's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Cracks F.C.'s José Javier Gamarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. With an all-out effort, Cracks F.C.'s Domingo Antonucci threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Javier Gamarra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cracks F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
