Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Chimbarongo's Cristián Sire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Sotelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristián Sire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Banda hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes, Juan Pablo Esquivel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cayucupil FC and the Chimbarongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Juan Pablo Esquivel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chimbarongo's Rogelio Iratxo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cayucupil FC. When Cristián Sire came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Chimbarongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristián Sire couldn't finish the play. Venancio Castel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Cristián Sire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Manuelo Ordaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chimbarongo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Silviano Droguett charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviano Droguett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Silviano Droguett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayucupil FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Rogelio Iratxo scored to the left of an out of position Omar Sotelo, making the score, 3-0. Manuelo Ordaz's late challenge caught a Cayucupil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuelo Ordaz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cayucupil FC booed when Chimbarongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuelo Ordaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristián Sire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Omar Sotelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristián Sire struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Omar Sotelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimbarongo. Omar Sotelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuelo Ordaz in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cristián Sire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Sotelo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play Cayucupil FC's Franco Banda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Manuelo Ordaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Gilesindo Bastarrica made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuelo Ordaz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Sotelo saved Cayucupil FC from getting behind. A collision led to Chimbarongo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ruperto Bermund hit a great ball. Omar Sotelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuelo Ordaz in the 61st minute of play. The referee gave Chimbarongo a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rogelio Iratxo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cayucupil FC's Omar Sotelo. 4-0. Cristián Sire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuelo Ordaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristián Sire in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Sotelo saved Cayucupil FC from getting behind. Manuelo Ordaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sotelo having to interfere. Omar Sotelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jon-Ander Schorr charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon-Ander Schorr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cayucupil FC's Omar Sotelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Iratxo in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuelo Ordaz in the 85th minute of play forced Cayucupil FC's goalkeeper Omar Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Sotelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Sire, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Omar Sotelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuelo Ordaz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Cristián Sire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sotelo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Chimbarongo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
