Rodeito FC's Román Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristián Sire in the 12th minute of play. Manuelo Ordaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Román Harriet having to make a save. After 22 played minutes Cristián Sire rounded Rodeito FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The Rodeito FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Rodeito FC's Fidel Ipinza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Román Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Sire, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Manuelo Ordaz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chimbarongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuelo Ordaz couldn't finish the play. Fidel Ipinza got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-2 in the right cross in the 56th match minute before Waldir Bastos had time to react. 61 minutes into the match, Rodeito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristián Sire came free, but Román Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Román Harriet came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chimbarongo's Manuelo Ordaz. But to his dismay, Manuelo Ordaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Inocencio Guamanga took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Bastos. Waldir Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Román Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Sire, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Manuelo Ordaz made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rodeito FC's Román Harriet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Román Harriet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristián Sire's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Inocencio Guamanga hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A beautiful save bye Rodeito FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Fidel Ipinza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chimbarongo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
