If Franco Olasagutia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nafarroa Alvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Rivadeneira in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Teodosio Rivadeneira made the kick off in the second half. Quintán Pequeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remicio Utrera during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
