Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julio Peacock started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Pamputa AFC's Uriel Argo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Quiñones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Peacock in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Quiñones saved ESPAÑA FC from getting behind. Arnoldo Cuadra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justino Samaniego. Pamputa AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, ESPAÑA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Uriel Argo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 17 minutes, Julio Peacock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pamputa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Peacock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonatan Quiñones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Argo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Ceferino Undurraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Samaniego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Omar Talcao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ezequiel Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Hilario Cáceres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Undurraga during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pamputa AFC booed when ESPAÑA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Undurraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Jonatan Quiñones managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Pamputa AFC's Uriel Argo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonatan Quiñones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Argo in the 34th minute of play. If Uriel Argo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pamputa AFC's Gabriel Solminihac got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience held their breath when Arnoldo Cuadra in the 47th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Justino Samaniego's left hand side.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Uriel Argo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pamputa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Argo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Quiñones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Omar Talcao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceferino Undurraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Justino Samaniego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ceferino Undurraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Argo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Quiñones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Argo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the ESPAÑA FC defense, Uriel Argo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Quiñones. The ESPAÑA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Quiñones should have stopped the shot. Uriel Argo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonatan Quiñones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Argo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Quiñones having to interfere. Pamputa AFC had played much better football throughout.
