The referee showed Marcelino Polo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelino Polo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Filipo Diestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nafarroa Martini having to interfere. José Francisco Ahues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pellin FC's Filipo Diestre fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Eduard Orsterhont kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Tayimo got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Polo. José Francisco Ahues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nafarroa Martini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Miguel Bertrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Tayimo's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Diestre came free, but Nafarroa Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nafarroa Martini made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Francisco Ahues in the 29th minute. If Marcelino Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Zarpas Zubelzu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Diestre in the 41st minute of play forced Tayimo's goalkeeper Nafarroa Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Nafarroa Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipo Diestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tayimo booed when Pellin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Oyuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Francisco Ahues might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nafarroa Martini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Francisco Ahues ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Pellin FC's zone, Marcelino Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufrasio Delgado came out of the goal and Marcelino Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tayimo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
