Moisés Escalante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Lois Soto Tapia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moisés Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Soto Tapia having to interfere. Lois Soto Tapia came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Invalidos FC's Moisés Escalante. But to his dismay, Moisés Escalante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Invalidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Zaror to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Gorostizaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Jesus Bascur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Carlos Saúl Manosalva fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS's protests and gave Carlos Saúl Manosalva a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Invalidos FC's zone, Christiano Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Jesus Bascur came out of the goal and Christiano Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Moisés Escalante came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Invalidos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Escalante couldn't finish the play. Carlos Saúl Manosalva kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Lois Soto Tapia, was totally fooled by Invalidos FC's Martino Alliende, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Horacio Jesus Bascur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentino Mella, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Invalidos FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Roberto Tellez hit a great ball. Invalidos FC's Horacio Jesus Bascur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Lisboa in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomone Jadue in the 41st minute of play forced GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS's goalkeeper Lois Soto Tapia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Invalidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Alcaíno came free, but Horacio Jesus Bascur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Porter hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Moisés Escalante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invalidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Escalante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lois Soto Tapia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Lisboa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Escalante in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lois Soto Tapia saved GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS from getting behind. Lois Soto Tapia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Escalante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lois Soto Tapia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomone Jadue in the 64th minute of play. Christiano Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Horacio Jesus Bascur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Pierre Lataste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invalidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Lataste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lois Soto Tapia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS defense, Pierre Lataste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lois Soto Tapia. The GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lois Soto Tapia should have stopped the shot. Lois Soto Tapia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Jadue in the 76th minute of the match. If Salomone Jadue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moisés Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Soto Tapia having to interfere. GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS's Paco Alcaíno got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salomone Jadue might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lois Soto Tapia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salomone Jadue ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Moisés Escalante notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of GLADIADORES ARAUCANOS's Lois Soto Tapia. Lois Soto Tapia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Salomone Jadue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentino Mella's late challenge caught a Invalidos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentino Mella helped the player get up and apologised. Valentino Mella kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Invalidos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
