Jonatán Berecedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Mac Iver went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 34 minutes, Lester Maddaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farellones AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lester Maddaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Farellones AFC's Osvaldo Redole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mercurio Landa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Osvaldo Redole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Lester Maddaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mercurio Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Xeneize FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Naviedes. Osvaldo Redole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Xeneize FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farellones AFC's goalkeeper Jonatán Berecedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Redole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Osvaldo Redole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Xeneize FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Adán Maschke hit a great ball. Lester Maddaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Redole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Mac Iver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jonatán Berecedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Cerilo Oses dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatán Berecedo, 0-2. Lester Maddaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lester Maddaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneize FC's zone, Osvaldo Redole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mercurio Landa came out of the goal and Osvaldo Redole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Lester Maddaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mercurio Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Carlos Garrido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mercurio Landa. Xeneize FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Garrido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
