Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Solorzano kicked off to start the match. Hernán Fontaner kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Higinio Solorzano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quim Keuter. After 6 played minutes Maipu FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Ormaechea. Juan Fernando Millán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Eyzaguirre in the 9th minute of play forced Maipu FC's goalkeeper Estebano Berau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Higinio Solorzano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Quim Keuter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amancio Ormaechea's late challenge caught a Guanta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Ormaechea helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maipu FC's Amancio Ormaechea got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Maipu FC booed when Guanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Manuel Graumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurín Lagunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Quim Keuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Eyzaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estebano Berau having to interfere. Maurín Lagunas got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Quim Keuter handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Higinio Solorzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Guanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Fontaner. 38 minutes into the match, Guanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurín Lagunas came free, but Quim Keuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quim Keuter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Solorzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Guanta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maipu FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Eyzaguirre to make the kick off. Amancio Ormaechea hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Fernando Millán in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estebano Berau saved Maipu FC from getting behind. Higinio Solorzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Quim Keuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Sandro Monzón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurín Lagunas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Fernando Millán struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Estebano Berau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanta FC. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Quim Keuter got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Guanta FC hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Fernando Millán in the 78th minute of play forced Maipu FC's goalkeeper Estebano Berau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maipu FC's Amancio Ormaechea got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Juan Fernando Millán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maipu FC's Estebano Berau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Solorzano in the 84th minute of play forced Guanta FC's goalkeeper Quim Keuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Juan Fernando Millán notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maipu FC's Estebano Berau. Estebano Berau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Maurín Lagunas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Quim Keuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Solorzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Guanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Fontaner. With a little luck, Guanta FC's Quim Keuter got control of the ball when Maurín Lagunas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alifonso Cornejo fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maipu FC's protests and gave Alifonso Cornejo a yellow card for diving instead. The Maipu FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Guanta FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
