Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xavier Grove took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, CD Magnates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Saldaña to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Barreau, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Feliciano Barra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Marx in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Xavier Grove managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Magnates's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Grove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino San Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Osorez's late challenge caught a Curaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Osorez helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Osorez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Xavier Grove ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino San Miguel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Xulián Puebla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Barra having to interfere. Mario Osorez kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Genaro Barreau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Barra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Curaco's Valentín Recabarren suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. When Eustaquio Saldaña fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Magnates's protests and gave Eustaquio Saldaña a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CD Magnates's Eustaquio Saldaña got a free kick in the 30th minute. Feliciano Barra made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Filomeno Marx sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Filomeno Marx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Marx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Barra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Grove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Marx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Barra having to make a save. If Aníbal Ortuzar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Grove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Faustino San Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Faustino San Miguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Grove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Xavier Grove fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Xavier Grove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino San Miguel having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Xavier Grove took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Faustino San Miguel to make any attempt to save it. Faustino San Miguel made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Xavier Grove sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Curaco got a freekick which was hit by Xulián Puebla. 80 minutes into the match, Filomeno Marx notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CD Magnates's Feliciano Barra. Feliciano Barra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florián Bassenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Faustino San Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aníbal Ortuzar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute of the match Rómulo Fanta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Barra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Curaco's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Grove came free, but Faustino San Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filomeno Marx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
