If Eliazar Millanao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Savier Máximo made a precise shot to the right of Juan Pablo Garza. Pabellon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Haroldo Ubeda fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pabellon AFC's protests and gave Haroldo Ubeda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chiuchiu AFC booed when Pabellon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Ubeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Eliazar Millanao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Pablo Garza was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Chiuchiu AFC's Alarico Zorondo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pabellon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliazar Millanao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Marc Grajales in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chiuchiu AFC's Aldo Bautista. Aldo Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Juan Pablo Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Martín Meza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Eliazar Millanao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pabellon AFC's Juan Pablo Garza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chiuchiu AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
