When Danilo De Rurange came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Aucanquilcha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo De Rurange couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Andreo Salinas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Iván Luis Raymond to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Pabellon AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Haroldo Ubeda hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Danilo De Rurange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pabellon AFC's Juan Pablo Garza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreo Salinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iván Luis Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo De Rurange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Firmín Landa's late challenge caught a Pabellon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 40 minutes, Francisco Martín Meza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pabellon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Martín Meza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Iván Luis Echavarría hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Aucanquilcha's Arnoldo Becerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreo Salinas made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Andreo Salinas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iván Luis Raymond was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Norino Portales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Pabellon AFC's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Garza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Borja. A collision led to Aucanquilcha getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ondino Madrid hit a great ball. Aucanquilcha's Danilo De Rurange got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Francisco Martín Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iván Luis Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Andreo Salinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Norino Portales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aucanquilcha and the Pabellon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norino Portales kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Adam Romero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iván Luis Raymond skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute Danilo De Rurange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pablo Garza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Danilo De Rurange kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Pablo Garza. That made the score 2-1 in the 95 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pabellon AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aucanquilcha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
