In the 39th minute Jeraldo Guardas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Aldana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Paillalef in the 41st minute of play forced Pucapucone's goalkeeper Aureliano San Cristóbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeraldo Guardas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andy Aldana came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeraldo Guardas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeraldo Guardas to strike the kick off in the second half. Marciano Lautroup's late challenge caught a Pucapucone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The coaching staff of SOUR BOYS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raymundo Picarte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, SOUR BOYS's Raymundo Picarte got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Jeraldo Guardas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aureliano San Cristóbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Altamirano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Pucapucone players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
