The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaitano Bischhoffshausen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ariquilda FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaitano Bischhoffshausen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Ariquilda FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sibaya:s goal. In the 13th minute, Toni Baeza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomero Zúñiga. The goal made the score 1-0. Toni Baeza had several of the Ariquilda FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Baldomero Zúñiga as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Sibaya getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Narcís Llanos hit a great ball. If Paulo Daly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Toni Baeza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ariquilda FC's Baldomero Zúñiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sibaya's Toni Baeza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Zúñiga. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play.

Baldomero Zúñiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceandro Villalón, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Toni Baeza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toni Baeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baldomero Zúñiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariquilda FC's Baldomero Zúñiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceandro Villalón in the 63rd minute of play.
