Álvaro Joglar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Daly in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Podador Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulo Daly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Mariano Gartsman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Álvaro Joglar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Daly in the 48th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iván Luis Labra to make the kick off. Baldomero Zúñiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lester Menares in the 57th minute of the match. Baldomero Zúñiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Cacike supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cacike would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
