Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reces Ávila started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Espijia's goalkeeper Rolando Torrijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvino Cross. If Alvino Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Marsal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espijia's Rolando Torrijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Marsal in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Espijia's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Marsal came free, but Rolando Torrijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reces Ávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eber Parant having to interfere. Francisco Marsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tauro Tapia fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espijia's protests and gave Tauro Tapia a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Espijia got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Tapia. Rolando Torrijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Marsal in the 35th minute of the match. Francisco Marsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rolando Torrijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pellin FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Salbatore Riobo hit a great ball. Pellin FC's Eber Parant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reces Ávila in the 45th minute of play. Eber Parant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reces Ávila in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Marsal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Espijia's Reces Ávila got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rolando Torrijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Marsal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Francisco Marsal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pellin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Marsal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Torrijo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Ramon Quinchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eber Parant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pellin FC's Quique Adriazola got a free kick in the 65th minute. Reces Ávila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Jose Ramon Quinchen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quique Adriazola's late challenge caught a Espijia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quique Adriazola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Espijia booed when Pellin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quique Adriazola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jose Ramon Quinchen could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Eber Parant however easily saved by the left post. Pellin FC's Francisco Marsal got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Odón Zuasnabar fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pellin FC's protests and gave Odón Zuasnabar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, one of Pellin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pellin FC. If Reces Ávila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pellin FC's Eber Parant got control of the ball when Jose Ramon Quinchen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reces Ávila was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Espijia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 97th minute, Reces Ávila fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eber Parant, passed just outside the right post. Jose Ramon Quinchen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Eber Parant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Espijia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
